We are keeping this event free in order to reduce any barriers to entry but ask that you consider your availability before you sign up.

The breakout rooms and participant experience will be coordinated based on each participant and their industry goals. Breakout rooms will be small groups and therefore negatively impacted by no-shows. We will consider your signup commitment for attending the event and appreciate you letting us know in advance if you’re unable to make the workshop.

Panel: Representatives from industry sectors including educators, ski patrol, mountain guides, and forecasters will speak to their experience in the industry and give an overview of the different possible tracks.

Breakout Rooms: Participants will be pre-assigned breakout rooms with 4-6 participants and 1-2 facilitators based on their indicated preferences and geography. For example if you are interested in avalanche forecasting in Colorado we will do our best to pair you with a Colorado based forecaster. Each breakout room will last approximately 45min - 1 hour.

Lecture & Wrap-up: Presentation around industry progression

Registration

We will be creating breakout rooms based on interest from participants with 4-8 participants and 1-2 facilitators in each room. Please reach out to us if you have any questions on which breakout room is right for you.
